ਸੋਰਠਿ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ।
ਨਹਾ ਧੋ ਕੇ, ਤੂੰ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੇ ਦੇਹ ਰੋਗ-ਰਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਣਾਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਔਕੜਾਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਾਗ ਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਬਚਨ ਮਹਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਕਥਨ ਹਨ।
ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਇਨ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਚ, ਹੇ ਵੀਰ! ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
ਬੇ-ਅੰਦਾਜ ਹੈ ਸੱਚੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲਤਾ। ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਆਬਰੂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸਣਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਢ ਕਦੀਮੀ ਖਸਲਤ ਹੈ।
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸੁਧਾ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮ ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਦ ਵੱਜੋਂ ਛਕ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ।
ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਢੇਪੇ ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਦੌੜ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਮੈਂਡੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ-ਕਾਜ ਰਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਤਾ, ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਯੁੱਗਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। |

Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:
After taking your cleansing bath, remember your God in meditation, and your mind and body shall be free of disease.
Millions of obstacles are removed, in the Sanctuary of God, and good fortune dawns. ||1||
The Word of God's Bani, and His Shabad, are the best utterances.
So constantly sing them, listen to them, and read them, O Siblings of Destiny, and the Perfect Guru shall save you. ||Pause||
The glorious greatness of the True Lord is immeasurable; the Merciful Lord is the Lover of His devotees.
He has preserved the honor of His Saints; from the very beginning of time, His Nature is to cherish them. ||2||
So eat the Ambrosial Name of the Lord as your food; put it into your mouth at all times.
The pains of old age and death shall all depart, when you constantly sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe. ||3||
